Default one of the S4 guys in the local audi club has them...

he said they're great. however, completely overkill if you don't track your car often.

Default what do you need to know? if you run RS4 replicas, you will need spacers.

you won't need them with 5-spoke OEM wheels...fits very well with room to spare. stops like a beast.

Default I think cross drilled rotors and a decent set of pads is more than 90% of people need

Yes better braking can be had with a bbk, but if you don't track your car, you sure as hell don't need it for a daily commute. I am putting on cross drilled rotors this winter and am going to get some track pads for the track events this spring. I am assuming that will be plenty. If I start to see serious brake fade, I will start looking into bbks, but probably not before then.

Default Had to get my SL3's rebuilt to fit them, and used 5mm spacers to clear my 17x8 ET 35 Fliks

You need to have at least 22mm backspacing to clear the calipers. I had my SL3's rebuilt so that I could have 25mm spacing.
