that STILL provide good feel for driving!
Right now i've been glued into my Piloti monaco's for over a year now.. I learned to drive a 5speed in these lol, and now when I'm wearing anything else I seem to have trouble cause nothing quite has the wonderfull connection to the pedals that they do.
Of course, my other shoes are a set of slip on clogger type heeled things, some thick ole x-trainer adidas (which suck for everything) and my sandals... The sandals are nice... they are sensitive like the piloti's
Anyways... these things were never very supportive for standing long periods on hard floors... nor were they made for walking. Frankly this pair is plain worn out too... and i'm starting to get the usual foot, ankle, knee, hip and back pain.
I will probably order a new pair for weekends and days off! but I need something for standing and walking around at work!
recomendations??

got a pair a few weeks ago and with the added cushioning of the new soles they are great...barefoot or with socks. Have to adjust your seat for driving and not good for heel and toe.

http://www.dansko.com/professional_mens.html#</a

Or you can do what I sometimes do.. I wear the pumas then when I get to my destination I change my sneakers.. Wearing a pair of sneakers that don't fit like a glove just ruins the whole driving experience..

a pair of mocassin type shoes (preferably thin leather soles with rubber studs) to drive - IMO. You don't want anything clunky or much broader than your foot, as they can interfere ... or, drive barefoot.

the car, not paying attention, getting my feet wet...look down, oops wearing my good driving shoes....thank goodness for one great set of wooden shoe trees. They are still drying out....what a dumby ;-)
