Target - Migo stainless steel, wide-bottom type mug. Fits snugly on your dash for easy, line of sight, non elbow bumping access. rubber, no-skid bottom stays put through turns. Tested it out this morning with winning results.

that could rest on the dash - the expansive black flat area under the windshield.
I've been looking for one of those old style wide-bottomed mugs designed for stability, and non-tumbleness, that were popular before cupholders were in every car made. They're harder to find now but this is one of them. Its brushed stainless steel, double walled, rubbered bottom. I set the mug to the right of the center defrost vents on the dash and it doesnt move. Finally drinking coffee in the car is easy again. I know it's a little thing but I'd hazard that 99% of us here are a tad obsessed with the details. Now I can pick up and set the mug back down without fumbling or awkward arm twisting and dont worry about the accidental elbow spilling everything down the backseat way...
