Need some advice on my rotors... do I have to refinish them?

Default Bobcats are ceramic composite, and I believe were about $120/fronts.

Certainly not a discounted price; they did all the measurements for me and I think cut a custom pad for the AP's, before they decided it was the same pad as the Alcons. Also got matching rears from Pure Motorsport.
David @ ProImports should be able to talk to his contact at Carbotech and get another set sent, possibly at a cheaper rate now that they have template/know what to use.

Default I would turn the rotor down IF there is enough material - call AP and see what they

recommend. 'Slaping now pads on worn / scored rotors is HALF ASSED. If the rotors cannot be turned I would replace them.

Default You didn't do any real damage...

Just put the new pads on and break them in carefully. They will conform to the slight grooves you put in the rotor.

"Turning" the rotors is always a bad idea-- it will remove more material, meaning less metal will be available for heat dissipation.
