hello I am in the mist of a custom exhaust build and need a stock tt exhaust tip im going to have a set of center exit tips like the 225 cars but both set more to the center of the bumper and I need a 2nd tip to complete my rear end.... would any one happen to have a exhaust they have recently replaced and want to donate a tip .... and also I am assuming that the tips on a 225 and 180 car are the same size, and all just that the 225 has 2 and the 180 only has 1?....

hum that may do are those only set up for a bolt on application?.... I haven't even looked but,, the stocks don't attach like that do they?.....

i don't know how the stocks come on or off...
it does appear that these new ones are bolt-on configuration. i *really* like them... but can't find anywhere what the diameter is; it'd be way cool if they were 100 mm tips (;-p to JazziTT) lol

the stock exhaust tips are made up of two pieces.
1. round metal tub is welded into the muffler for the exhaust tip. This is where the exhaust comes out.
2. The shiny metal piece that everyone refers to as the tip is actually only about 3-4" long and tack welded to the actual exhaust tip.
Since you are going custom, have the welded metal tip the same diameter as stock and buy the Audi aftermarket tips to attach to the ugly metal ones.
Make sense?
