If you get the F1s be sure to give them a few miles to break in
I'm sure it's a combination of factors (sidewall stiffness, tread patter, release agents) but the turn-in is noticably worse than the S03s. I played around with tire pressures a bit, eventually lowering them did the trick. As they wore in and I got used to the different feel I got much more confident in them and they do have gobs of grip. I have about 20k miles on mine and they're just about used up.

That's the way I felt about my Toyos...
I'm considering going with S03s next time. I'd rather have the stiffness in the sidewall and adjust the suspension softer. To me the handling is more important. During break in on my Toyos they felt worse than my H rated Pilot all seasons.

I've become a bit of a tire *****...
I feel compelled to try something new each time they're up for replacement
