Default Neuspeed P-Flo Intake

Neuspeed P-Flo Intake-651087-Audi TT 180

Worth getting? It seems like at some point I should switch to a K&N filter which is 50 bucks. So if this comes with the filter I figure the $193 price tag isn't so bad. How hard is this to install (as of next week i'll be doing my first mod... a 006 DV. So my experience with mods is very limited)? I'm doing all of this in anticipation of Revo-ing my car.

Default hey! my vote is for the K&N >>

for the time being. the stock airboxes in our cars aren't all that bad. some will say get a TTDA or a BMC CDA (I even installed an Injen CAI at one point... but it required front end and headlight removal.. sounded and performed great though... and it only works on the 180 TTs)... choose your poison!

I think the one complaint about the P-Flo's is that they are open in the engine compartment... meaning... it's a "hot" air intake... probably sounds great though.

oh.. also check out the link to schwings experiments with "shimming" the 006 for holding better boost... for tinkering down the road!

I have the P-Flo... I'd go with the TTDA for more performance.

Default TTDA gets my vote. Why get something that sucks hot air from the engine bay?

Even if you do the simple install (down the fenderwell) you'll be getting cooler air.My car runs great with the TTDA!
