Default New to Audis and the TT

First off I would like to say "Hello!" to all of the board members here. This is my first visit to this webboard and I am thoroughly impressed by the amount of traffic and positivity found here. Many boards contain quite a bit of conflict, and it is warming to not encounter that here.

Next, comes my apology. I attempted to use the search function only to find it (or me) a bit lacking. So here I type, what very well be, redundant inquiries.

Now to the fun stuff.

1) I have been considering the purchase of a 2001 225QR TT. What pros/cons (mechanically and reliability-wise) does this model have over the other TT models for 2001?

2) I have read a few posts in reference to a "DV." I am not sure what this part is or it's significance but, I have heard replace it with a Bailey DV. What is this all about?

3) I have a love for HP and 225 is good but, what are others acheiving on this model without comprimising too much reliability and, what modifications accomplished these boosts?

4) Has anyone had good/bad experiences with Beaudry Audi in Tucson, AZ or Scottsdale Audi in Scottsdale, AZ? What was your experience there?

5) I read a few posts that mention a TTS. What is this model? Is this something exciting I might want to wait for?

6) What does the future look like for the upcoming TT models? Any rumor information out there being spread or websites with info leaks?

Sorry for all of the inquiries. I am just a bit new and can't wait to soak up all the data I can get my eyes/ears on.

Regards,
Eugene D. Morris

Default Thanks for the links.

Very nice FAQ at AudiTT.org. It seemed to answer many of my questions. If you all have any other great urls, please, pass them this way. I'd love to see what other sites the TT has spawned.
