A little off topic for this forum, but I know a lot of you fellow TT enthusiasts will find this interesting. A lot of the information on this page I knew, but it's got some great pix of the RSI. A shame we'll never see it in the USA.
Believe it or not it will actually be more expensive than a TT but less expensive than a 911. Very pricey, but I think this really reinforces how VW is very good at making the most use of its platforms.
Anyway, link is below....
--

You're kidding! Wow! Did they release any time frames??
BTW, I have no idea what Vegas Line is, if you don't mind filling me in.

When I say Vegas line, I mean that the odds are. There is no definitive information. Still, I will bet that within the next year or two, Audi releases a more powerful TT. If they are putting this 3.2L V6 into the Beetle, it should surprise no one if the same engine makes its way into the TT. If it fits into the bug, then it should also fit into the TT. And it is my opinion that it will be called the TTS. Again, we'll see what does or doesn't actually happen.

Being that is is used transversely here.
Why not the 2.7T which is smaller, and more powerful (takes a 4,000lb car 0-60 in 6 secs)?
If the A4 really goes to 3.0L in 2001 or 2002, that's likely to be the new standard engine with it's own twin turbo offshoot.
