Default New Cluster woes (Dealer's Fault)

So I had a new instrument cluster replaced under warranty at my "local" Audi dealer. Half way home, I realize the top and bottom quadrants of the Information screen are blank (no Radio Data on the top, and no gear indicator on the bottom). I have the 3.2 with DSG. Did they put the wrong cluster in?

Then I come to find the dealer, after installing the new cluster, didn't bother to sync the radio to the rest of the dashboard, so when the headlights are switched on, the radio controls backlight doesn't operate.

Do these guys even bother to check their work?

Now they get to do it all over again........

OK, So I got the car back. Turns out they installed the right cluster, but had it programmed for a 5-speed manual instead of the 6-speed DSG, and didn't have it coded properly for the Bose radio.

All is well now.....

Dealer techs can be pompous morons sometimes. Glad to hear you got the problem solved.
