You'll just have to fake your death, works of art always increase in value after death of the artist

Default i think you misunderstood my comment. trying to paint and blend on multiple panels>>

will definitely cause more damage than he fixes and the excessive paintwork that results, not to mention the repainting at a body shop later will definitely kill the value of his car.

painting a bumper which is a distinct, removable, and inexpensive part really is completely different from the barrel issue.

Default I understand, just being a smartass/PITA

The job he had to undertake was a great deal larger and more difficult than just repainting a bumper. I have a desire to do my own body work and always have but the blending of panels and matching fading paint and all that would scare the crap out of me. One reason I'm glad for Brilliant Black, I think I can get the bumpers to be unnoticable to the general public's untrained eye and it's only a temporary solution.

Default I think so....>

Once you get the hang of spraying. Shooting clear over paint makes it all look good...Flaws in the clearcoat can be wetsanded/polished out relatively easily...

Default Wetsanding is the key, almost moreso than the shooting of the paint

At least thats what we found when we repainted my buddy's 67 Cougar a few times. Can really make some mistakes and imperfections disappear.
