Default well, obviously, the VW MAF doesn't work properly for your car. get the 'rebuilt' one that mates to

your motor.

I went that route too, even bought a "used" one.
they crapped out.
I bought a proper MAF from the dealer, reman., and they warrantied it for one year.
I got 3 new MAF's that way.
yea, they crapped oout, but it didn't cost me anything.

your on-line place goona get you a new one or refund your money?

Did you just buy the part or did they have to install it to get the warranty?

I'm thinking (as I originally thought) that you have some other issues...

I would think that the part is covered? Regardless its Audi, all you have to do is complain enough.
