New squeak: sounds like 2 pieces of styrofoam rubbing together from the lower/left dash area.

Blasphemous Goiter Breeder! I don't know what's funnier - "discarded cups" or the "hood release"
What is this "hood release" and why would I want to release it? The car came with a hood for a good reason so I don't know why we have the option to discard it.

I have the same squeak. When I asked the dealer...
they lubed the door and it did squat for the noise.
Next time I will force him to drive with me to reproduce it...
good luck.

It's two pieces of styrofoam rubbing together in the lower/left dash area.
You can do one of the following:
1. Place a rubber bushing between these styrofoam objects.
2. Remove the one styrofoam object and leave the other to rub against no styrofoam objects.
3. Same as #2 only with other styrofoam object.
4. Remove all styrofoam objects and replace with neoprene, nylon or delrin objects of similar size and shape.
5. Drink coffee and look at pornography on your computer like you do every other Monday morning.

Excellent! I think I'll try the rubber bushing thing - sounds gearhead-like!
