Default New Tires

Hello, my brother is looking to get new tires and rims for his 2006 TTQ. Was wondering if anyone could recomend a good summer tire? Was thinking perhaps the Dunlop SP Sport 9090 (Max Performance Summer). Anyone have these and can post their comments or perhaps offer a good alternative?

I know I'm new here but I come from the forums over at fourtitude. Anyway I'm going with Continental ExtremeContact DW for my summer tires. There have been some great reviews on these tires that make them great in the wet and dry. Should note that running 40psi in the tires is recommended by those who use them. Apparently they have soft sidewalls, and the best performance of the tires comes from keeping more contact patch on the road.

2nd. Last time I bought them, I think they were under $80 each (price has increased a bit). They handle well and are quite good for the money. You can spend 2-3 times as much, but you won't get 2-3 times as much tire.

Do NOT buy Kumho LX Platinums. They're louder than my snow tires.
I should have known better, since they have a treadwear rating of 600.
