Default That new TT smell...

I was curious about the new TT smell versus other cars, for example my company car which is only 2 months old ('04 Impala) has a tremendous new car smell compared to the TT, is it all the chemicals and plastics in everything that kills my brain cells? As for the TT leather, it's not as strong as a Mercedes, why?

Default Certain manufacturers (Cadillac in particular) actually add the "new car smell"

This was in the NYT, but this was the first hit on Google News.<ul><li><a href="http://www.taipeitimes.com/News/worldbiz/archives/2003/10/27/2003073608">The Cadillac is back because of `new car' smell</a></li></ul>

It's been mispelled, it's called nonsense. Trying to cover-up bad quality

I agree, I think adding the smell is a pathetic trick to sell more cars.
