Default noob TT question: whats the ID of the throttle body?
are the 225 and 180 TB the same diameter?

Default 2-1/2"/62mm OD; Yes.
the wall is about 2mm thick.

Default thanks, probably the same TB as other DBW 1.8t...stock ID is 59mm
which jives with what you are saying.
