Default not to beat a dead horse, but...

spoke with my dealer yesterday and was informed that any TT showing up in the Audi shop for anything (oil change etc...) WILL get the mods. No questions asked. I presume this is an AoA thing, and not dealer-specific. Anyone else getting this story? Matters little to me, as mine (arriving in December) will be 'spoiled' by the time I get to the nursery to finalize adoption.

In the meantime, I have placed the TT with spoiler photo on my computer desktop in hopes of numbing my aversion through constant exposure. It has been a week and I still don't love it, but the good news is I am vomitting less frequently now and my stomach feels a bit better. Maybe by December...

Your dealer is mistaken. Read between the lines, he is probably trying to ensure you remain on his waitlist instead of snapping up any available TT without the mods. According to my letter from Audi of America: the mods for my TT Quattro with 4,000 miles on it is 100% voluntary.

I did the same thing with the pic for the same reason! It seems to be working. (nt)
