Default Not Familiar With This OBD2 Port!!!

So I guess Audi has a different OBD2 Port than VW.

What is this plug called? besides the obd2 port
What Ross-Tech cable do I use? Anything better than that?

OBD2 ports are standardized.....if a plug does not fit correctly, it is possible the port has been pushed through the panel a bit so as to not get a good connection....

What car is it on and where is it located? It is not an OBDII port and does not look like Audi's OBDI log port which was actually two smaller plugs.

Ok, I have a '01 TTQR and just took a look at mine and it does look exactly like yours....and my Ross Tech plug plugs right in fine. I have been using Vagcom on it for two years. It doesn't quite look like some OBDII ports but the little ears on the one end let the OBDII plug just fit fine like the isosceles trapezoid shaped OBDII plug.
