Default not sure whether i should post this here or on the VAG forum.. but here it goes

i'm trying to find out whether my injectors are at their max; which block do i log and how do i decipher the info.

New MAF from Joe seems promising, pulling a good 200+ g/s. Remember this is not the AMU (new/refub) engine MAF but the 2.0 version. I have revo and it seems like the car doesn't notice any different. I have almost ran the whole tank of gas (equate to 300+ miles) and no CELs or anything. Kudos to Joe for the cheap MAF. Graph/pix will post later as i'm manupilating the data right now

I'm also trying to do a good analysis of the A/F by logging block 31 and 217. Blk31 gives you the bank1 Oxy voltage then you can mult it with 14.7. block 217 gives you the lambda value and you agian mult it with 14.7 to get the a/f; is this the best way to calculate a/f? are there any other ways that you guys know of.

Also are there anything else you guys use Vagcom for; in term of logging and analyzing the car performance. I know of 32, 114,120, 204, 02, ---> basically, get the MAF reading, all the intake temps, command/manifold/intercooler pressure and tq/hp

Any feedbacks/help are greatly appreciated. also if anyone wanna do a data compare/contrast, let me know. it'll be fun times.

Jake

I'd cross post to the VAG forum and see what Uwe says.

Default Personally, I have no idea. I've had very good luck on the VAG forum and I'm trying to get

my post count up. Schwing and Hans are killing me.

Default Your injectors are not maxed out, don't worry....>>

You need a few more mods (like a big turbo) to get to that point.

A good Vag suite for analysis is:

002
118
204

You can diagnose a lot of issues with the above.

Forget Torque/horsepower. There is not a dyno built into the car. They are calculated numbers and become highly innacurate with any ECU mods (chipping)

No point in over analysing if nothing is wrong..

Default i'm pretty sure they're not and i've read almost all of your posts on which blocks to log. however

for my own curiosity, i want to know how to see and decipher my injectors data.

<img src="http://i66.photobucket.com/albums/h249/Cruzad3r/data/02_29_08_3thgear_log.jpg">

both log are done in 3th gear. I was going to do a 4th run but the condition of the road doesn't let me. This is on my way to work

also how do you feel on my approach to get data for the A/F?

Default Injector duty cycle...>

When it starts to exceed 80% then Bigger injectors become an issue. I'm not sure if there's a measuring block for this. It was never a concern for me. The stock 380's are good to the lower 300's hp wise at 3 bar. Push em to 4 bar and you're well into the 400cc delivery rate.

Air fuel can never be measured accurately with a narrowband 02. You need a wideband sensor for real tuning accuracy. Measuring the voltage of 02 #1 x 14.7 will give you a rough approximation though....

Default the injectors on the 225 are excellent as well>>

was doing some research, and with these you can get into the low 90% efficiency rating before they are overworked.....at least some parts they did not skimp on..;-)
