Noticed there's a new Autolock wide pro at Pep Boys, says for Audis...
The Autolock is that device that locks your brake or cluth pedal up to deter theft. There was some discussion a little while ago to the effect that the standard one didn't fit the TT.
This model is clearly labeled "Autolock Wide Pro" and has a noticeably wider opening for the pedal stem. The package says that model is specifically for Audis, VWs, and Porshes. I did some searching online but couldn't come up with any info on it.
I think it was $60 or $70 at the Pep Boys on Rt. 22 near Watchung, NJ. I wonder if it is a decent deterrent, though that steering wheel cover it comes with (to warn the "evil doers") is quite stupid.
Just figured I'd mention I saw it in case anyone was looking for something like that.
