Default O.CT or Revo... I'm confused!

I'm new to the TT game(just picked up an ALMS with 400 miles!), and thought that I had made up my mind on the O.CT from Stratmosphere. But now I've been reading all of the Revo testimonies, after doing a search. The Revo sounds user friendly and can be changed as I do more mods. Nothing bad about the O.CT, but once installed, it is what it is. I don't mean to stir up a bunch of crap, but I'm curious what you guys out there in TT land have done and why?

Thanx!

Most of the later upgrades are REVO because it's only been out for about 6 months here in the U.S. No physical tampering of the ECU and it can be set back to stock before you take it for servicing.

Default not to be a pain...

but you might want to change your sig as the mods dont like people linking to businesses that arent sponsors here.

just a heads up before they do it for ya.

also are you just talking about the chip?
revo reprograms your ecu, oct is a swap, but they also offer other kits besides just the chip

Thanx for the heads up about the URL link, as I own the store in St. Louis. I thought it would be good to let all of the German car guys know about all of our awesome German funiture, but I understand why they could get upset.
I know that O.CT is a replacement, but I didn't know that they had an ECU reprogram available(if that's what you are suggesting). All that I have is Statmosphere's catalog. It seems that their products are of extremely high quality, that's why I don't want to discard the idea of doing their ECU.
The disadvantage of REVO is that there is not a dealer here in St. Louis. Chicago area is as close as it gets! I guess I should call the guys at Strat and talk with them one on one.

Thanx for all your help!

Default I have the O.CT....my brother has a REVO

I have gotten most of my stuff from Strat and continue to do so. I think their products are great quality. The only reason I would go REVO over the O.CT is if you want to be able to change the settings depending on the fuel you are running. Regardless, they are both fun.

Default its also possible to remove your ecu and send it to a REVO dealer for programming...

then once you put it back in you never have to physically touch it again.

just put the sps back to stock when you head to teh dealer, and you can also adjust teh level of boost and timing (depending on which SPS device you get)
