O/T: A review of last night's food and wine
The night was ridculous.
I was invited over for dinner by a boss. This is the same boss if you might recall that took me to that $450 live sushi extravaganza. Well -- he out did himself. It was me, him, a close friend of his in the wine business, and another analyst. The four of us uncorked maybe 10 bottles of wine. Don't remember all of them but some highlights for me included a '93 SVR - Sterling Vineyard Reserve Cab; '99 Chateau Monton Rothchild; 2000 Qupe reserve Chardonay.
The drink was complimented with Trotter's to Go. The takeout part of the restaurant Charlie Trotters. The beef tenderlion was so soft I was cutting it with my fork -- seriously.
Overall a sick night. Wish I had more time to paint the picture of the evening but the other analyst and I left around 1:30 and then hit the clubs. It's a rough one today at work and since I'm not the boss, I still had to be in at 5am :\
I can't wait to take a nap!

Even more jealous than I was last night...sounds like a great time (except for this morning). And...
if you think Trotters to go is great..the restaurant it self is probably one of the top 10 in the world!

Been to the restaurant a few times...thought the to-go was even better than the menu the nights i've
been. we had some great wine last night...the svr was a great cab (which I assume is a grape fav. or yours 
)
