Octane chart for mixing 91/92 and 100 octane gas ...

I whipped up this table in excel since all I could find on the web were octane mixing charts for 92 and 100 octane gas. There wasn't one for 91 octane. As some of you may know, many of the gas stations out here in CA are saying that due to emissions, they are reducing the octane of the Premium from 92 to 91. Here is an easy (although slightly more expensive) way to get higher octane. If anyone finds it useful, I can add some links to where to find stations that sell 100 octane gas.

http://www.bazonkers.com/octanechart.htm</a

... mixes linearly with other gas (e.g. one part 100oct to one part 92 oct gives you a tank of 96oct gas). Boost 100, however, and other octane "additives" are not 100 octane gasoline and do not mix linearly.
Check the bottles on these products, many have VERY different mixture rates from one another.

3010 Almaden Expressway at the intersection of Almaden/Foxworthy - (408) 978-5650. Last I heard it was about $4 a gallon for 100 octane
