Odd Sound after shutdown?

Default Odd Sound after shutdown?
After I shut down my TT, I hear about 6-8 "knocks" coming from the back of the car. Then goes away. Has only happend the 2 times I have turned the car off today? Any thoughts?

Could be the exhaust... sometimes the metal creaks.

Default Last time this came up I think the consensus was that it is a fuel pump
The gas tank is irregularly shaped so there's a pump that runs to equalize the two sides and it makes kind of a thumping sound after shutdown.

Fuel pumps leveling out the fuel in the inverted U shaped fuel tank. That's why there are 2 senders.

Default I heard mine do this for the first time yesterday, it was kinda funny.
But didn't cause me to worry cause I knew that's exactly what it was.
