Default OEM jack is a POS, dented the bottom of my rocker panel

I normally use a floor jack on the little donut under the car but finally it gave way so I ended up not using that. (Found out that the donut works well if the whole cars weight is evenly distributed on them). I need to jack up the whole front end of the car so I used the OEM jack on the left side then got another jack on the other side of the car. As I was lifting the other side I hear a loud bang. For some reason the oem jack slipped or gave way and flew out to the wall. In the process my rocker panel now has a big dent. Now I ended up using two floor jacks and placed it where the oem jack normally goes. I then used jackstand where the donut goes. Even with this setup not sure if its so secure (since both donuts are already collapsed). I cant really find any good jack points under the car. Are the frame rails good enough for a jackstand? They seem to be "pseudo" rails to me and not really part of the frame..

Default spend 90$ and get a good craftsman floor jack...your life is worth it....then you can>>>

use the jack stands on the donuts....lift the car via the inboard rails...i use small sections of 2X4 to avoid metal on metal contact...

Default I finally found the perfect solution.........

A good floor jack with this criss-cross pad which fits the seam where the OEM jack lifts. I can lift any wheel to any height in complete safety without damaging anything.

You can get one at PureMotorsport below ( I had to cut it down so it would fit under the car):

http://www.purems.com/products/product.php/II=833</a

Default I dented mine as well before I found the solution below.......

but I used the "dent king" or similar dent puller and it popped back out pretty clean. Had to use it a number of times before it looked nice and smooth.

I have no such excuse - just being sloppy.
