Actually...
I wish someone would fabricate a roadster roof rack where the rear rack clamped to the roll bars and a front rack that clamped into the top of the windshield like the top does at the closed position..

This is actually a common occurrance with cyclists
I prevent it by putting the garbage can in the center of the garage, right inside the door. So when I get home and open the garage door and wonder "why the hell is the garbage can there?" it then reminds me that my bike is up top and not to pull in!
