Default Oil viscosity

I am going to be using AMS Oil in the TT at the oil change interval..
Anyone else here using it?
If so, what grade?
I am in Canada, but not doing too much winter driving... air temps will be around freezing 0 C.

Default I'm using Torco 5W50 with the MPZ additive, but it seldom gets that cold over here. AMSOIL is great

along with Torco, Mobil 1 and RedLine. Used to put in Aral fully synthetic 0W40 which was good but not that good. Tried Castrol SLX once, engine was noisy and didn't feel as free-revving as before, so I changed it after 2k kms.

Mine tends to use much of the 0W30 - 0W40 variety oil (up to 28k kms), this actually stopped with the Torco 5W50 (now at 31k kms).

I don't think you'll have a problem with low temperatures with any of these oils.

You can also do a search for 'oil' on this forum, JimTT wrote an extensive report a long time ago.
