Ok... anyone ever get EPC to come on WITHOUT a check engine light? Mine is doing it EVERY time...
I drive it. Not only that but the check engine DOES come on every once in a while.... they have checked the codes and it sayes that the Accelerator Potentiometer is showing a sporadic loss of voltage... or something to that tune... taking it in tomorrow morning.... we'll see what happens... anyone EVER experience this completely annoying ordeal???

The EPC monitoring can be completely independent
I remember being able to throw a fault into the throttle control at tech school and only having the EPC light on, not the check engine light. Sounds like you'll either be needing a throttle body or an accelerator pedal assembly. Should be a quick and painless diagnosis and repair.

a new accelerator pedal assembly might do the trick !!!
