Default I don't lilke badges on cars that don't come stock on it, especially from different manufacturers.

This is just my opinion.

My TT is an ALMS edition, and I've thought about putting a small ALMS emblem on it, right by the TT, like Audi should have to begin with, but I'm refraining (and struggling with it,) for now.

Default I kept them on for a few years and recently removed all but the rings...

much cleaner and classier looking. The ghosting took a little work to remove because I waited so long but it was worth it.

Default OK... here's the deal >>>

I thought that maybe the "S" badge would somehow justify the plate, and the plate "by accident" (I know, yeah right), would sound like something else. Therefore, I wouldn't get the plate without the "S" badge... so I'll get neither.

The Turbo badge is actually genuine Audi... from what, I don't know. I bought on ebay from Europe. I have been uncomfortable with it looking too tacky, but it has some sort of black adhesive (being tacky in its own way - ha) that stayed on the finish when I tried pulling it off. Any thoughts on what I can use for this?

Thanks for the great advice. I'm keeping my plate, and the Turbo badge is coming off, but I really don't want to "debadge" the original stuff at this time.

A clay bar will push the old adhesive (2-sided tape) off the car

Yes, I took the rings off simply because I hated cleaning them... IMHO looks better too
