Default OK, had a CEL and now it is gone... Possible reason and thoughts>>>>>

I was out about 2 weeks or so ago and didn't realize I was so low on fuel. I ended up stopping at a 76 station instead of Chevron like I always put in it. There just wasn't one around so 76 was the only option. So I filled it up(probably a mistake) and went about the rest of the day. Drove it for a little over a week and it felt like if just didn't have the power there anymore. Just 2 blocks from the Chevron to fill again and the CEL pops on. So I am thinking oh **** what now. I fill the car and look under the hood for anything stupid. Nothing at all. The car is still running the same so I figure it is probably the MAF that John told me was on it's way out. Last night I was at about half a tank full and I got in my car to go home from work and my CEL is gone. The car seems to have the power back again too. Could this be the fuel or is it in my head. Does that seem logical???

Default I don't think it'd trip a cel just because it didn't like the gas

maybe loose gas cap, evap emission code or something?

Default you might have lost power when the cel was on

when I was dealing with the cel from the downpipe install it would lose power once the cel finally tripped.
