My 2000 TTCQ looks like it did they day I bought it and has only 38k miles but it is now out of warranty. My concern is the cost of repairs and maintenance which is why I'm turning it in when the lease expires this fall and leasing a 3.2 TT.
I remember having an oil return line from the turbo replaced. Required the tranny and suspension to be dropped. Dealer said their cost (passed on to Audi) was in excess of $3000. I was glad my car was under warranty!
