I am looking at ways to get the leds that light the two dials to glow red - not sure how crazy a deal it is to have the face plate taken apart and swap bulbs (or paint them red)

If I recessed mine any more the hinges for the motorized faceplate start hitting above the climate control area. No chance of my door closing with the face plate on, just barely does with it off.

it sound awesome as well - the new speakers are amazing! I am thrilled with the sound and only fear of my wife laughing at me is keeping me from sitting in the car all night. lol
The color is the only detail now with the dial lights -- it is not bad but when I get it red it will be VERY sweet - I like the old school look to it with tons of modern bells and wistles. :-)

I am very pleased - the fit is perfect and it sounds great. I wish I had pics of the speakers in with the door cards off. very good sound from moderate cost speakers. ($300 for the front components and $125 for the rear 4-ways)
