Default OK...next tire question. Michelin, Toyo, Goodyear, etc....which one?

Edgeracing has there Michelin Pilot Sports on sale for $185.00, but if there is a cheaper tire that will last me just as long or longer, I'd like to know. Someone also said the Toyo Proxes T1 was a good tire, but I didn't know about longevity. Thanks again for all the input! I need to buy them in the next few days.

Default I've had various forms of Pirelli's on three different cars and have had great luck with all of them

two different styles of all seasons on previous cars, and the TT came with the P6000s... almost 12k (fairly aggressive) miles on them (when I took them off for winter), and there is a lot of tread left... I'd say another 10-12k really.

Default I'd go with Toyo's. Pirelli's are noisy. Michellin's won't last you. Goodyear's no way. Might...

want to try Falkens as well. Or you might want to check out the Pirelli Rosso's, I've heard great things about those.

Default Look at all the tires available in your size, and compare the>>

"treadwear" number. Although this isn't a highly scientific number, it will give you a basic means of comparing the treadlife of the tires available. Toyo/Yokohama/Kumho? may be good choices. Some of the Goodyear tires produced for OEM purposes have great tread life, but at the expense of traction. They are also consistently more expensive. FWIW =8)

Default from what i've seen there isn't a stated treadwear factor on a lot of the

ultra, max and high performance tires.
