I'm waiting on forge arms and just read the post about Forge arms not being able to correct toe where as the full Kmac kit will. I was under the impression that the Kmac was the cheaper way to go but a little harder to adjust. The Forge seemed like the higher quality piece to me.
With the forge could I get a half Kmac kit and use that on the other set of control arms to correct the toe?
Do the Forge arms go on the upper arms or lower?
I'm thinkin the upper but the brain is thinkin too hard right now!

On the lower...I have a 1" drop...works great...I had it aligned on a Porsche digital 4 wheel alignment machine...came in to spec quite easily...More drop might need 1/2 K-mac..i don't really know for sure.

the alignment this Monday and will let you know.
I don't think the forge will do the trick as you replace the lower control arm and you need the upper to adjust too.

where the suspension arm bolts to car in front is where the toe is adjusted. you will get all you need from there. the Forge arms will take care of your camber. yes they are very easy, and an incredibly well made piece. you will smile when it's done.

There's a lot of play on the toe adjuster plate on the rear of the quattro. I don't know why there are so many people with issues on their rear toe. The sliding mount bracket on the control arm allows for corrections of -25 to 25%!
When you lower an inch, usually 1/2 a kmac kit will be fine, and toe adjusted via the toe plate. I think it's a misconception that you cannot adjust toe with 1/2 a kit. Those that install a full kit just has MORE toe and camber adjustment than 1/2 a kit. Most that do the install at home would have a difficult time with the toe plate, as you'd have to adust both sides.
If you lower, have only 1/2 a kmac kit, AND you get camber back into spec, your TOE will also be in spec or at least very close to it, that's assuming alignment was correct prior to dropping.
As for the Forge arms, you have an almost unlimited amout of play - much more so than a full kmac kit.
If you are dropping 1" get 1/2 kmac, 1-1.5 full kmac, > 1.5" you're better off with a Forge. Just remember, get your camber into spec, and you WILL get toe back using the adjustment plates.
Personally, I've got 1/2 kmac on the top arms to bring the top in, then using a Forge adj as my lower, I bring my camber into spec, and then the plate adjustment to get my toe into spec. With my set up, I've got almost an unlimited amount control on my rear suspension.
The reason I'm using both is that I've got very wide aggressive rears, and if I didn't pull the entire wheel in, I will rub.
Btw, if you only get 1/2 kmac or the Forge, put em on the bottom.
Just for reference, on the Forge, a 1mm adjustmen = ~.27* to .32* of camber.
And, if for some reason you the plate can't get you into ajustment, take off the control arm, and slot the plate (not the control arm). Tah dah! More toe adjustment!
