Okay here's the deal. I set the cover down on the deck. Now, the deck looks clean to the untrained eye, but I was sorely mistaken...

I have SPLINTERS in my car cover!!!! in the side that touches my beautiful TT!!

I've tried to pull the splinters out with tweazers but the material just won't let the splinters go. I don't want to cut them free because then I feel like I'm damaging the material even further.

Help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Bill

PS - Yes, I feel stupid

Default A couple of ideas

Option 1: lIf it is washable (ike Audi cover) then give it a few cycles through the machine the water may soften the splinters enough to allow them to just work themselves out.

Option 2, get a roll of duct tape, flip it around to sticky side out and try using it as lint/splinter remover.<p><img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/AudiWorldPics/2000/jgriff signature audiworld.bmp">

Good ideas... Option 1 has a chance, but the splinters are too deep for duct tape. :-(
