As you know, I've been baby-sitting Quiet STTorm's car for about 11 months, and I have had plenty of opportunity to compare and contrast our TTs.
One thing that's bugged me about my car (or Ed's car depending on how you look at it) is that his rear suspension sits lower than mine and I can't figure out why.
Here's the breakdown.
Cars:
My car-2002 225 Quattro coupe.
Ed's car-2002 180 Quattro coupe.
Suspensions:
Both cars:
Koni Sport shocks, Eibach springs
My Car:
Neuspeed 19mm rear sway
Suspensions installed by:
Ed and I, same day.
So, here's the pictoral comparison:
My passenger rear:

My driver's rear:

<img src="http://images14.fotki.com/v20/photos/4/469393/3848696/100_1262-vi.jpg?700525">

Okay, so you can see there's even differences from side to side as well as car to car, but his overall is still up to 1/2" lower than mine.....How can this be with two identical suspensions on two identical drivetrain cars installed at the same time by the same people?

on top of the trailing arms are the same size or different or one doesn't have them.
I know on my KW's the springs have to be oriented a specific way.
Also - to get factory camber specs, Audi uses a white plate spacer which can vary in size from 2mm to 5mm or more. Some cars have it - some don't. My first TT had em, my current one doesn't. They will affect rear height and should be removed with installing aftermarket suspension.
Also - all measurements should be taken from the center of the wheel - not the ground to take into considerations variations in pavement, air pressure in the tires and tire diameter.
