Okay TTschwing, a new post to clear up any confusion on the grounding issue.

Does it work in conjunction with the fart pad? now you have a nice combo product....you're probably going to tell us that its all made in MN, right?

Hence the reason i was asking for what way you would consider doing it. I do believe that the coilpacks have an additional common ground on top of the valve cover also though correct?

It may be difficult to read this, but the Coil-Paks are grounded through the wiring harness.

since he feels that aluminum is a good conductor as well.
I don't think its as good a conductor as copper. and he's also saying that the way the connectors are bolted on...may be worse because there isn't a solid or clean/flat area that the bolt and connectors flush up to...which makes it more of an issue.

it's maleble (soft) and resistant to corrosion. These qualities make for good connections reliably and it doesn't develop contact resistance over time. As aluminum does.
But it's not nearly as good at conducting as either copper or aluminum. It's widespread use in consumer audio is justified mostly by it's marketing appeal.

Ground Loops:
Since everything is going back to the negative terminal on the battery, I can't see how this would be a problem. It's not like we are grounding to a poor cunductor like the dirt under your house.
Adding Resistance?
Since they aren't removing any existing grounds...how could they ADD resistance? The juice will take whatever path offers the least resistance.
I do agree that for the most part this is probably placebo, unless the particular car has grounding issues to begin with. But I still don't quite get how it could hurt. Other than all that added weight from all the copper & gold. ;^)
