Default Ominous Fault Codes!!

I have an '01 TT coupe 225hp with and APR chip. Earlier today I experienced a sudden loss of power while accelerating on the on-ramp to the freeway and my engine simultaneously began missing. The check engine light began flashing and I discovered the following fault codes with my VAG-COM tool:

16684 - Random/multiple Cylinder Misfire Detected
P0300-35-00

16687 - Cylinder 3 Misfire Detected
P0303 - 35-00

16685 - Cylinder 1 Misfire Detected
P0301 - 35-00

What could be the cause of these faults? Why would my engine suddenly misfire?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Doug

Coilpacks or plugs... check the plugs & gap, if not that, then swap coil pak locations/ck codes

What they said- coilpacks or plugs. ecstuning.com has them for a good price.
