Can we disable "delete" but retain the author's "edit" privelege?

Default I think these comments would best be posted in the "feedback" forum...I started a thread there on..

...this topic on Friday. The delete function is a big loser for the forum.

I vote for the ability to edit or perhaps even delete your own post, but not the follow-up comments written by others.

That having been said, some might have noticed that I had a post up last night which I ultimately elected to delete. At first, the topic was light and fun. Later, it degenerated and explicit pornographic pics, videos, and language were posted. I'm no prude, but this isn't the place for that sort of thing.

So I chose to delete the thread, innocent though my comments were, in the hopes of discouraging the other individual(s).

Default PLEASE!! It is soooo annoying when your tracking a thread and

it keeps popping up as having a new post, but THERES NOT ONE THERE!!! cause they were deleted.... then you just have to untrack it so it'll go away lol
