Maybe this will help someone else.. almost simultaneous with the installation of my fast silver Forge DV my "service" light came on. I checked the plumbing, nothing seemed remiss. I emailed Pete at Stratmosphere and got an almost instant response. He offered to send a replacement valve, overnight, but also suggested that there might be a pinch in the vacume hose and asked that I check the clamps. Back out to the TT, remove the cover turn the clamp screw on the vac. hose about 1/2 a turn and the service light goes off. Now how in the heck did the TT know that it was not tight enuf? It certainly was not loose, was snug, but not snug enuf. And a tip of the fedora to Pete and Stratmosphere, that kind of service is hard to find.

I'm glad you wrote this - I just swapped the DV in my A4 Avant and even though I swear I cranked on the clamp for the vac line I went away wondering if I couldn't have made it tighter. All seems well and no light so I guess that's my answer!
(Julie here presuming and hoping that 1.8t engines everywhere warn about vacum leaks)
A4 engines, especially chipped, seem much happier with non-oem DV's too!
