Default I guess Audi never fixed this issue. Hold the button all the

way up until window reaches the top and it will reset the window back to normal. Every once in a while this happens to our TT's.

If you try shutting my pass. window when it's warm out, it reopens half way.

Default By any chance is that window at all not "smooth" otherwise?

My passenger window goes "Duh..duh..duh.." when it does the auto drop for opening the doors, but the drivers side just opens smoothly "dwoot" Shutting the drivers side just sounds like "dwoot" again, the the pass. side goes "bruuut" like it's pushing hard.

The passenger window also (at times) takes a 1/2 second longer to close than drivers and is more likely to jam and reverse direction, opening 1-2" (consistant amount, just never measured) sometimes when shutting the door.

I know something's actually messed up w/ that window, on top of the "normal" gremlins. But somehow everytime I bring it in, they just lubricate it or switch out the motor again. I tried playing with the track alignment myself but I couldn't manage to make it any better.

Sorry about trying to spell the noises! ;-)

Default Sounds like the glass is slipping or something.....

Mine just does a nice deliberate smooth drop halfway down....like the car just decided it knows better and wants the window down dammit! I'm just glad it doesn't do that with the accelerator....I guess Audi has been down that road before back in the early 80's.

I don't know much about the inner mechanics of the window operator, but I assume there must be some kind of rubber drive wheels that grip the glass....must be slipping.
Good sound effects... BTW lol.

There's actually a really long metal cable attached to the window that get pulled.
