hang at red line for awhile and something will break like the crank.

my guess about 300hpwith stock internals...clutch,etc....

Default but the golf 1.8Ts in EC 1.8T challenge running alot higher hps on stock internals

and I think the 225 engine is tougher

or drain all the oil from the engine and run it. Something will break too, that's not the question

basically, when they've modded that much, everything is essentially the same.


there were 225's in the challenge, remember.


further, those motors are not (for the most part) ones that will tolerate daily driving for very long... life expectancy is greatly diminshed.

the point is whether I understood your question or not it is still a data point. It is a noise date point so then I fall in the class of non-meaningful response. But you are right, I didn't answer your question because of a misread on my part. It late over here and I'm going to bed. Goodnight!
