Default Absolutely

I have enjoyed every minute in my 01 TTQR. It is my daily driver, the car my fiance and I take on weekend road trips to the mountains, and my "personal relaxation machine" on solo trips into the twisties.

Also, I have enjoyed meeting and spending time with local TT enthusiasts here in Denver. We are new to the area and didn't know anyone. The local TT "family" have helped to smooth the transition. There aren't many other car groups out there that offer that kind of comraderie.

Overall, I would recommend it to any one with similar needs and wants to my own. It isn't a sportscar like a Boxster S or S2000, but it easily satisfies my driving desires.

Default Interesting thought

In the past 17mths I've had an unbelievable amount of fun (TT-West, TT-Hearst, TT-East 02) and so so mamy drives in between. Not to mention BBQs, events etc alike.

For the sheer informative people on this forum I would NEVER change. However, things have changed as to what's available in the same price range (and a little higher)

I have dreams of my childhood 911 which of course, won't be the 993 4WD as this is still a good $70-$80k but a nice 1990 911 Turbo can be had for way less than MY TT (I say mine as in 2001 Roadster with mods). I saw a very nice 911 the other day on eBaY for $42k.

If I had to "do it all over again" and the TT was to still be my daily driver then YES without a doubt. If it were to be my "weekend car" then no, I would get a 911 instead
