Default All the "active" jammers are BS... if the lidar guns are using a modulated signal.....

(which they most certainly are), unless the jamming device can replicate that modulation signal of the lidar, there is virtually no way that the lidar can be swamped out with some bogus LED's... total scam to part you with your money.

Used to work at a company where build a device where we bombarded proteins tagged with a dye, with a laser and detected the small photon energy radiating from the proteins... we could easily measure minute differences even with the subject specimen illuminated with a high intensity halogen lamp... Lidar works on a similar priciple and I sure that it would have a similar immunity from stray background radiation - regardless the source.

Default LOL....Notice it does not say what this thing does.......>>

If it were truly an effective "jammer" every legitimate enthusiast magazine in the country would be trumpeting it's value. Heard word one? Me neither.

Default Interesting story about plate covers ... my friend got a ticket in his Boxter ...

Actually, a dealership mechanic was doing a test-drive in Alexandria after making repairs, and he got ticketed by a Fairfax County officer for having the plate cover. The mechanic called my friend to let him know, and the officer confiscated the cover.

A few minutes later, my friend called the mechanic back and said "Is the cop still there?" Unfortunately, it was the OFFICER's phone number!! (Open mouth, insert foot.)

A few days later, my friend replaced the plate cover ... and got another ticket ... from the SAME OFFICER! A court appearance will be REQUIRED this time. The cop was not happy.

(Don't get me started on why I think these plate covers are a bad idea!)
