Options questions; Factory Navigation system: Worth it? Aftermarket options?

Hey everyone!
I've basically made up my mind to buy a TT225QC. As we know, there are only four options on the car. I do not want the hands-free telephone.
I would like the Bose sound system option.
I feel the Premium Package is a must-have. I wonder why it's not standard equipment.
My question comes to the navigation system. Is the factory navigation system worthwhile? Is it useful? Easy to use? How do you program it?
If the navigation system turns out to be a necessity, I'm basically forced to order a new car. Not a lot of cars on the lot or used cars with it, it seems.
The cool thing about the TT is that it replaces at least two cars. I'm hoping this will satisfy me for a long time.
Thanks everyone!

I have it and love it. Its cleanly integrated, and fairly easy to use (though not perfect.) For my work I frequently have to drive to client meetings in new places, and the NAV gets me there on time and relaxed. Also, my sense of direction is poor, and I live in a large metro area... there is no way I could know my way around every town here.
It is programmed using a thumbwheel and several buttons, while looking at a display in the center gauge cluster. While driving you get arrows, time of arrival, distance to destination, distance to next turn, and so on, while a voice talks you through each step of the route. There is no map, and personally I would rather have this simple setup then try to read a printed or digital map while driving.
Totally worth every penny for my needs.

Or you can get an aftermarket navigational system like Garmin Streetpilot III. I think it costs about $750 on some of the online websites. It's portable, so you can transport between cars. This unit has gotten pretty good reviews. You may want to consider this unit.
Good luck!
