mine are YR rated, which is actually a higher speed rating than ZR, though it doesn't sound logical (nt)

Anyone Know actual Tire Rating ??? correction to above the original tires are 225/45 R 17

This is what actally appears on the sidewall of the original tires

RE040 EO40BZ 225/45R17 91Y

This tire 224/45R17 was also specified in the original Audi TT brochure for the performance package (November 98)

Where does a R rated tire fit in the overall performance rating category? (Tire Rack don't reference any R rated tire)

And are different rated tires being fitted to TT's?
