Default OSIR Orbit ring is in...but have a problem<<long.

I installed the Orbit shift ring last night, which while it was lit looked awesome! After the drive to the girlfriends, I go to leave and no dash lights! The cluster was lit but very dim, only the speedo & tach. The info screen in the middle of the cluster is out, the light for the radio, climate controls, shift ring, and under dash lights are out too. So I am thinking probably the battery, since the clock is 12:00, 7/1/1998. So I checked the fuses and 15 is blown! I tapped the power for the shift light off of the accent lights for the cubby hole and ash tray light. I think it might over load the circuit, but dont know. Please let me know what you think, or if you have any help. Do you think I should tap in the Ring power somewhere else? And where?
