***First off I want to offer thanks to those who gave me excellent advise on where to go and what to see. Again, I am very impressed with the quality of people who are active in this forum. So THANKS to those who helped me navigate through this wonderful vacation spot.***
Pristine white beaches, very secluded coves and bays, and a relaxed attitude is what I found in the BVI. Four of us were on a 10 day excursion on a 38 foot sail boat. What a wonderful time we had.
Our typical day was to wake at dawn, make some breakfast, check the chart where we wanted to go that day and where we wanted to end up for the night. We sailed around to almost all the islands, stopping for lunch and to snorkel at various reefs before dropping anchor for the night. We avoided larger ports and cruise ship destinations as we were on vacation and needed a break from the rat race.
The trade winds were warm and gusty and on a couple of days brought us some unseasonable showers that ended up being refreshing. We provisioned our boat with festive island meals and cooked on the grill most of the time.
All in all a great trip. Please check out these pictures. Enjoy.

but Foxy's was infested with biting bugs and I was too sun burned to drink them off. Need to go there for a full day. (That was the busiest place we went on the whole trip!)

needed better directions on how to proceed to the place. I thought we could just anchor and go in but it was very rough, swells, that day and we would of had to moore at Cane Garden Bay and cab it over.... (Did not know that before hand... and never saw Bomba's... so I could be wrong.)
