I can sleep easier tonight. Do you know how much RR the average Penn State student
drinks in 4 years? A boatload. And I have wanted to know this mysterious number's meaning for over 12 years.
It's the SIC classification stupid!
thanks Patt.

Now you've done it. We can't get Genny Cream Ale here in Florida...
an old colleague used to have it shipped down monthly by his son-in-law.
Now that's a good tasting beer. Mmmmmmmm.

Keep in mind I am remembering it from my college years. I used to drink
Busch Light Draft regularly when I Milwaukee's Best wasn't on sale!
I probably wouldn't like Genny now! Ha ha!

Question for you Ivan . . . would you ever think to use Kerosene on the cars paint to remove bugs?
If you answered no, then why use WD-40? WD-40 is between 96-99% Kerosene!
If you want to know how I know that, here you go. Two ways really. A friend of mine lives down in southern NJ where the WD-40 factory is. They receive train tanker cars full of kerosene every day!
The other proof is when I was at the 1993 Shot Show in Houston, TX. I got to talking to the WD-40 rep and we were exchanging info on our products and talking about what each contained and how they were used for gun cleaning. He told me that the forumula was basically Kerosene, coloring, propellant and a few other additives, but kerosene was between 96-99% of the product.
I would never think to put any form of petroleum distillate on car paint! It not only strips off the wax, but also thins out the paint.
Just an FYI.

Actually I did know that WD-40 was mostly kerosene. But so is Bug and Tar remover
that you buy OTC at auto stores and it says "Safe on all paint finishes!" LOL!
The way I got started on the whole WD-40 thing was earlier this aft. I was talking to a buddy at work and he said he goes through a can of WD-40 at his house every few weeks. I was amazed by this and asked how. He said his 3 kids clean their bikes with it, I assume he meant the gears and chain. I suggested that occasionally he add some silicone lubricant to the gearing and chain since all they are doing is stripping off the dirt and the lubrication!
I admit I have used WD-40 in the past to get bugs off my car, but never my TT! I have learned better (through this forum).
