I have moments of both...
I can totally be the selfish guy when it comes to relationships, but once I get into one that girl is treating better then gold, usually right along the same lines as my car- I just prefer if she is cleaner then my car ;-)
but the way he lives, his units of time deal, the techno desires, just reminded me a lot of myself.
